The Item Banc Index uses a specific set of basic human need items as a baseline of value. Using the economic theory of PPP (Purchasing Power Parity), the currencies around the world are priced in these same basic human needs in order to show their relative value. The Index information below allows for an exchange rate between currencies based on these criteria.
